This beautiful bubble shaped romper has been handmade in a vintage floral cotton fabric.
The fabric dates from the 1980's and had '"Sorrento" a Bevis Screenprint in VAT colours' marked on the selvedge. It's a thicker cotton & has beautiful creamy yellows and gentle greens in the floral design.
The bodice is lined and fastens at the back with metal poppers. Crotch snaps allow for easy nappy changes.
Gathering at the bodice and elasticated thigh opening create that cute 'bubble' shape that looks so cute on little ones.
The romper can be worn on it's own in summer or with tights and a knit to extend the wearing season into Spring & Autumn too.
Please use the measurement chart to select a size. I have enough of this fabric to make another romper in a different size to the one shown (up to 4-5y) Handmade to order in 2-3 weeks.

Vintage Floral Bubble Romper
All fabrics are washed before being made up into garments to prevent shrinkage. This romper can be washed by machine at 30 degrees. To extend the life of any clothing always launder inside out with any fastenings closed.
Iron, if necessary, with a warm iron on the reverse side.
