Discover the pleasure of creating with fabric as you are guided through the basics of making a sunhat. We will learn about fabrics, how to follow a pattern, pattern markings, sewing terminology, sewing curves, using interfacing & much more!


These essential skills will give you the confidence to try new projects and be more creative.

Optional private Facebook group to ask questions after the workshop & encourage each other


This workshop is designed for beginners & those who would like to become more confident at using a sewing machine (although to save time it would be helpful if you know how to thread up your machine ready for use). You will need to bring your sewing machine with needle, bobbin & thread & your choice of fabric (the hat can be reversible so 2 options)  All other equipment will be provided.
